Introduction Another pandemic besides COVID-19 stalks the land. This one takes a heavy toll on young. Suicide occurs throughout lifespan and is second leading cause of death among 15-29 years old globally. Objectives The objective this review to highlight for another tragic pandemic, with main emphasis preventable character. Methods Data was obtained through an internet-based literature review, using research platform Pubmed World Health Organization website. Seven articles from last two were included. Results Improved surveillance monitoring suicide attempts self-harm core element prevention desirable worldwide. A public health system based medical records would provide disseminate data that guide prioritize best interventions in each context contribute effective overall strategy. Conclusions Close 800 000 people die due every year, which person 40 seconds. According current data, adult who died by there may have been more than 20 others attempting suicide.
